Just like last year, Vizag Steel has come up with a recruitment notification for Management Trainee’s (advertisement number: 04/2011). There are proposed 150 vacancies across various disciplines as follows:

Metallurgy: 53

Mechanical: 44

Electrical: 24

Chemical: 11

Civil: 7

Computer science/ IT and Electronics: 5 and 5 respectively

Instrumentation: 1
Qualifications required

A BE/B.Tech in respective subjects with at least 60% marks from a recognized University is required. For Computer science and IT vacancies, a MCA with 60% marks is also an eligible qualification.

Final year students can apply provided that they have their final percentage by 30 June 2011 and also should be able to produce required final certificates at the time of Interview/ Joining as required.

Note: for SC/ST candidates, 5% relaxation in marks is allowed.

Age: Candidates should have born after February 1, 1986. For reserved candidates, these age relaxations will be followed.
How to apply

The recruitment fee for MT is Rs.500 and this has to be paid by General and OBC candidates only. For others, there is no fee.

Please visit http://eproc.vizagsteel.com/mtrec2011/index.asp to apply online. You have to be ready with your email id, a digital passport photograph and a digital signature to upload. Once you do that, you can download the fee payment challan and pay the fee in any SBI branch.

You should come back again and complete the online application process and submit your application.

A registration slip will be generated which you have to take a print out.

Last day to apply online is 10 April 2011.
